The Resolutions of the Finnish Expatriate Parliament

The resolutions guide the work of the Speakers' Council and the Secretariat.

The resolutions are translated into Swedish and English. They are submitted to the Finnish Prime Minister, who in turn sends them for statements through the Government (different government ministries).

Resolutions adopted by the nineth session 2017

The nineth session of the Finnish Expatriate Parliament was also its 20th year jubilee session and was held at the University of Helsinki on June 16 - 17, 2017. The Session 2017 adopted a total of 56 resolutions.

Resolutions 2017

The short decisions of the adopted resolutions, that is, a summary of resolutions without the background which belongs to each, are always published as to the Minutes of the Session. These short versions of resolutions are Annex 8 of the Protocl and are posted electronically to all participants of the Session and to all Finnish expatriate organisations which follow FEP work. Resolutions adopted by the eighth session 2015

The eighth session of the Finnish Expatriate Parliament was held at the University of Helsinki on the 22nd and 23rd May 2015. The session adopted a total of 41 resolutions.

The seventh session of the Finnish Expatriate Parliament was held at Helsinki University on the 26th and 27th of October 2012. The session gave 36 resolutions in all.

The sixth session of the Finnish Expatriate Parliament was held at Helsinki University on the 24th and 25th of May 2010. The session gave 67 resolutions in all.

Resolutions adopted by the fifth proper session in 2007

The Finnish Expatriate Parliament's fifth proper session was also its tenth anniversary session and was held in the Finlandia Hall on the 10.-11.2007. The committees submitted and the session adopted 60 resolutions.

The Finnish Expatriate Parliament held its fourth proper session at Finlandia Hall in Helsinki on the 23th - 24th of May 2005.

Resolutions adopted by the third proper session in 2002

The Finnish Expatriate Parliament assembled for its third plenary session at Helsinki’s House of Nobility (Ritarihuone) on Nov. 18–19, 2002. At the same time, the Finland Society, which serves as the Expatriate Parliament’s Secretariat, celebrated its 75th anniversary.
